Process

From a free sample
to your first payout in seven steps.

  1. Consult & sample

We send you a free physical sample of our work, and you can receive it anonymously.

  2. Items & contract

We sign under your creator name, together with an identity protection agreement.

  3. Artwork & approval

We receive your artwork after signing, and you approve a physical sample before production.

  4. 7-day demand survey

We gather demand for 7 days and move to the next step once it reaches the quantity set in the contract.

  5. Prepayment & order

We take paid pre-orders on Duckzill Shop and place the production order for the confirmed quantity.

  6. Production & shipping

Duckzill handles production, stocking, packing, shipping and customer service.

  7. Payout

Totaled monthly and paid with a statement at the end of the following month.

  • If demand falls short

Before taking any prepayments, we announce that the item won’t go ahead and write the announcement for you. No refunds are needed, and it costs you nothing.

  • Timeline

An estimated 9–10 weeks from survey to shipping, depending on the item. For a birthday release, items and quantities are confirmed 60 days ahead (D-60).

  • Consignment in five steps

    Consult → Stock-in → Listing → Sales → Payout.

Six principles

We protect your rights
and your identity.

  • Copyright stays with you

Duckzill uses your originals only for the agreed items and period, and never for another creator’s products.

  • Non-exclusive

You’re free to sell through other channels too. Creators who support the same member get separate items and schedules.

  • Final approval is yours

You give final approval on designs and physical samples, and we make as many color corrections as you need.

  • Sales stopped in 24 hours

We stop selling no later than 24 hours after you ask, and Duckzill covers the recall costs.

  • Identity protection

Only one person on our payout team sees your real name and bank details. You can work under your creator name or anonymously, and in seven years we have had zero identity leaks.

  • No reissue pitches

We keep to the limited-edition rules you set and consider a reissue only when you ask for one.

FAQ

What creators
ask us first.

Will it clash with my group orders?
It’s non-exclusive, so keep running your group orders and birthday cafes as you do now. We only coordinate the items we make together so their sales don’t overlap for one year around launch, with a shorter period and narrower scope for a first collab.
Isn’t 15% low?
The 15% assumes Duckzill covers all production, stock, logistics and customer service costs, including losses on unsold stock. If you share production and stock costs, we can agree on a higher rate. For products you make yourself, consignment pays out 95% of the sale price.
Do I lose money if it doesn’t sell?
No. We produce only when the demand survey reaches the target quantity, and Duckzill carries any stock left after production.
How do I check sales?
Every statement includes order counts and records by channel, and we send POS reports for offline sales too.
How are taxes handled?
For collab production, individuals resident in Korea are paid after 3.3% withholding tax, which is reconciled in your annual income tax return. Registered businesses are paid against a tax invoice. For consignment, you report the sales yourself.
How long does it take?
Plan on roughly 9–10 weeks from the demand survey to shipping for a collab, depending on the item. To sell in time for an artist’s birthday, confirm items and quantities 60 days ahead (D-60).

Just tell us your creator name and the option you like.

You don’t need to share your real name.
